People from the San Leandro Community are bringing the Fun Flicks big screen up north to extend our friendship to the Napa and Sonoma County residents impacted by the recent fires. We want to show the folks in Napa and Sonoma County that San Leandro is a city where kindness matters. Our idea is to give schools and community organizations who were impacted by the fire the opportunity to hold fundraisers by showing feature films at their locations.
Paul Jackman and Fun Flicks Outdoor Movies SF Bay Area will donate their services by providing the big screens and projectors but we need money to pay for the licensing fees, which will make this event completely free for the hosts. Movie licensing fees can cost anywhere from $200-$500 depending on the movie choice and expected attendance, and we are trying to raise enough money for 3 events which means raising at least $1,000. The first fundraiser will be at a school in Napa and the second two are still being worked out. We will post updates as we confirm details.
Any amount of money you can donate would be greatly appreciated and will get us closer to our goal to show our neighbors to the north that the San Leandro Community cares.
